The Oxford Mail Youth Football League provides football opportunities for nearly 6500 children in over 480 teams from over 90 clubs from across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.

We aim to provide a high quality, safe and enjoyable football experience, following the Respect programme, with the main purpose of providing child-centred football in a player-centred environment.

Working with stakeholders, including all member clubs, we aim to find ways to improve behaviour, through the Respect programme, to make the matchday experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

Oxfordshire FA

Through our affiliation to Oxfordshire FA, we organise football for 10 age groups from Under 7s through to Under 16s, across four different formats (5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11).

Results and photos (team/action) will appear in the Oxford Mail every Wednesday. Match reports will appear on the League website.

New Season

NEW MEMBER CLUBS 2019-20

Any club wishing to join the League next season and enter a team or teams should complete the online Expression of Interest form which is now available - please use the link below (bottom right). Please answer all the questions as fully as possible. Clubs wishing to join the League next season must attend the League AGM in order to be voted into membership by current member clubs. Further details will be sent to the contact person added to the form.

LEAGUE APP

UPDATE FEB 2019: the League App is undergoing some functionality changes and a new version will be available for clubs shortly. The new version will include instant data refresh and notifications. The new app will not need a login, though we may put some data behind a login to ensure it is available only to member clubs. When the updated version is available, details will be circulated to clubs.

Meeting notice

LEAGUE AGM

The League Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 20th June 2019 at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB, start time 7.30 pm. All current member clubs must attend (maximum of two representatives per club), and all new clubs wishing to enter the League must sent a representative.
